New Zealand and Australia Trip Information!

It is a coolish spring day, at the end of April, and tonight we gather folk for an information night about a trip to  New Zealand and Australia this November!  Right now, it seems like a long way away in time, a long way away for  planning, and all the way at the other end of the globe!  It is hard to believe that all of this may soon be really possible:  that spring will be followed by summer and then fall, that we will gather together a new group of travelling friends, that we will have tickets in our hands and suitcases ready to load on an airport luggage belt.   From today it is just a few days past 6 months to "liftoff"!   Time to check our passports and make sure they are not going to expire close to the trip!

So much of life is full of days like today.  Possibilities, planning,  pleasant thoughts about adventures ahead.  As for today, I am just excited to discover who is considering coming along on this trip "Down Under."

Here is the link from Rostad for the itinerary.  Holmes Great-Wonders-of-New-Zealand-and-Australia Itinerary

Rostad Tours is great at putting together an itinerary with all the details you'd want included.  And where you notice that there are only two meals listed in a day,  rest assured, I have never seen anyone on one of these trips go hungry.  On days with two meals, there will be a chance to purchase a snack or light meal, if you are hungry.   Seeing as most meals are of the buffet variety, rest assured that if you do have a chance to 'go without', you will probably be very glad  of it.  Dave and I are always glad that we have a chance to try some local snack or speciality offered in a small shop, which normally we wouldn't have 'room' to try.  One favorite was eating ripe mangoes as we walked through a Costa Rican town.  Or sipping thick fresh fruit smoothies.  Again, amazing.  And huge!    Or the time we stopped the bus near a bakery in Jordan and the bus driver was sent with Karen to buy us all hot fresh Jordanian bread.  Truly amazing.

So much to look forward to!  Looking forward to travelling with you!
